Der dem Lo-Fi-Folk und Psych-Pop verschriebene Multiinstrumentalist, Produzent, Sänger und Songwriter Kurt Vile veröffentlicht vier Jahre nach seinem letzten Album Bottle it in heute sein neues Album „(watch my moves)“. Seit der Albumankündigung im Februar hat Philly’s Constant Hitmaker (Kurt Vile über sich selbst) mit „Like Exploding Stones“, „Hey Like A Child“, „Mount Airy Hill“ und „Flyin (Like A Fast Train)“ bereits vier Songs veröffentlicht. An „(watch my moves)“, das – das gemeinsam mit Courtney Barnett aufgenommene Album Lotta Sea Lice dazugerechnet – bereits sein neuntes Album ist und 15 Songs enthält, haben u. a. auch Cate Le Bon, Chastity Belt, Stella Mozgawa, James Stewart vom Sun Ra Arkestra und Warpaint mitgewirkt.
