Sven Väth erzählt 80 Minuten lang von seinen Zeiten im Dorian Gray, dem Omen, seinem Unternehmen Cocoon, von seiner Liebe zu Ibiza, seinen Auszeiten in Indien, über all die Veränderungen der Nacht- und Tanzunterhaltungsindustrie, seinem Dasein als Popstar (als Off) und der exponierten Stellung Frankfurts zu den Hochzeiten der Technohouse-Ära. Eines dieser Interviews denen man anmerkt, dass da einer nicht nur was erzählt, sondern was zu sagen hat.
Über das Omen (1): „The first days, they were so new and fresh, this was for me so special, that the people were all so hungry, really hungry for it, to just dive into the sound and dance the night away and go just mental and crazy on the music.“
Über das Omen (2): „It was really, really special, it was so extreeeeem. We had no air-condition in this club, it felt like 60 degrees and we were sweating for hours and the music was so intense, and, yeah, it just was going stronger and stronger.“
Über das Dorian Gray: „I really enjoyed this dark music at that time, but it was so strange in the context of a glamorous club […] We had people in Dr. Martens coming in the morningtime to dancing Pogo on the dancefloor at the Dorian Gray because of me and that was I little bit strange somehow, because I missed the girls on the dancefloor.“
Über Ibiza: „It was completly new for me, coming from Germany to the kind of tropical island. People were smoking and dancing on the street, this hippiefeeling was everywhere present, on the streets, on the beachs, in the clubs, the clubs were open-air…I was lucky, I was 16.“
