Tierra Umi Wilson aka UMI ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin und Songwriterin, die erstmals vor zwei Jahren für größere Aufmerksamkeit sorgte, als sie ihren Song „Remember me“ veröffentlichte. Die Tochter eines Afroamerikaners und einer Japanerin kam 1999 in Seattle zur Welt und spielte kürzlich zusammen mit drei Musikerinnen eine knapp 45 Minuten lange Session. Die Kommentare unter dem Video auf YouTube beschreiben diese Performance sehr trefflich, sie reichen von „Such beautiful music, the backyard, the arrangement and the whole vibe is perfect“ bis zu „This is just beautiful, the artists, the scenery, the music, the energy, this is just the definition of beauty…“.
